Ever notice how a bird flies so gracefully as to have no care in the world? Or how a butterfly casually glides through the air? Or how a bee buzzes around until it satisfies its every curiosity?

Three small creatures, even without the ability to speak, acquired just enough wisdom to be free. So, what is our problem? Why can't we?

At some point in time, we forgot how to live. Living inherited a new meaning for most of us. Working extreme hours on jobs that, in no way, fulfill us. Conducting daily routines in a way in which quality time with loved ones have to be penciled in. Laughter, somehow, dissolved into our lives like sugar, to a point where joy may no longer be evident.

Many of us have either packed up or thrown away our dreams. We have become societal robots and have prohibited our lives from having the most effective impact on us.

So impressed by technology, take-out, and time-outs, we have lost touch with ourselves and our families. We have given cell phones, computers, and TV more access than face-to-face conversations and family activities.

Work, for many, is just a place where we by-pass eight or more hours per day to earn money that we have already spent. Our need for prescription medication has increased significantly due to our lack of the more obvious pain killers: rest, relaxation, and wisdom.

So what if it takes a frivolous bird, butterfly, or bee to teach us how to live better lives. We must REDISCOVER our passion, REDESIGN our paths of life, and most importantly, REWARD ourselves with the enjoyment of life.

WAKE UP & LIVE...I dare you!
